All Saints return: New album and tour planned
All Saints are back together and planning a new album, it has been reported.
One of the 90's staples for pop, All Saints sold over a million records in their eight-year history, as well landing five UK No.1 singles. The band parted ways in 2001, with each of the band members enjoying less than successful solo outings.
Now, it is being reported that Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis, and Nicole and Natalie Appleton have put their differences aside for a new album and possible UK tour.
Speaking to Music Week, their A&R Jamie Nelson said the reunion came more by chance than anything else.
"It just sort of came up in conversation with Shaznay and by chance they'd all met up a week or so before, so it all just fell into place really." _
"I just don't think anyone has taken their place. They've always been the right side of credible, the right side of cool and I think so long as they deliver the right record you can't really go wrong."
The new album will be released by EMI's Parlophone Records.
